products where practical in order to minimise any adverse effects on the environment.
Environmental Policy
We hope to continually improve our environmental performance as we fully understand the implications of our operations on the environment and take our responsibilities towards the protection of that environment seriously.
We are continually striving to achieve and enhance the following:
- A commitment to continuous improvement
- Recognition of compliance with environmental legislation as a minimum level of performance and expect the same from our suppliers and sub contractors
- Educate employees in environmental issues and the environmental effect of their activities and encourage participation in environmental matters
- Monitor progress of environmental performance
- Recycling of packaging materials
- Minimise waste and reduce pollution
- Use of bio-degradeable chemicals
- Minimise use of solvents and lead based paints
- Use timber frames from sustainable or managed forests
- Liase with the local community to minimise disturbance to neighbours whilst on site and also assist and encourage our clients to use products and services in an environmentally friendly way
